8' Govt Surplus Security Chain - Bolt Cutter Proof- 9/32" - Hardened Steel 1/4"

Description

We have for sale one eight foot length of hardened security chain that is new government surplus.  It is made of hardened alloy steel that includes exotic metals for strength and durability.   It is embossed every three feet or so with 'G80', indicating the grade.   I tried to cut it with a pair of 48" H.K. Porter bolt cutters and stopped before I shattered the jaws of my cutters.   I found it impossible to cut it with a reciprocating saw as it wore the expensive Lennox blades down flat quickly.   We use a chop saw with a metal blade to cut it but a 4" angle grinder will cut it also but it is rather dangerous if the chain is not held in a vise.  The sparks flying and obvious noise pretty much rules cordless grinders out for thieves.  Combine this chain with a quality hidden shackle padlock, and you can rest assured it's secure.   This chain is spotlessly clean and is free of any rust or past rust stains.  It has never been used and it is black in color.    Don't trust any old chain to lock your stuff up with.   Lesser grade chain is defeated by bolt cutters easily.  This will keep them out.
It's cheap, it's simple and it works.
